I was anticipating Aerin and Jinha’s wedding day since the moment I met them in person! You know those people who make you feel like part of the family, even though they’ve only know you for a short time? Well, that is exactly how Aerin and Jinha made every vendor and guest feel on THEIR wedding day! If you know Aerin and Jinha personally, I’m sure you would agree that they are one of the most selfless and Christ centered couples I know! I kept saying all day that the Lord created them for each other!
They met during their freshman year of college! Jinha shared his feelings for Aerin their Sophomore year, but she did not feel the same! However, after two years of distance and prayer, Aerin’s heart began opening up to Jinha! Then in their senior year they started dating! It had been four years since that day, and to say they were excited to FINALLY be husband and wife is most certainly an understatement!
A few days before their wedding day, it actually SNOWED! It was the first, big snowfall we had since earlier this year, and I was hoping that some snow was going to stick around for photos! Guess what?! It did!! The fall foliage wasn’t washed away from the snow either, so I’m SUPER excited for you to see their portraits below!
It was also FREEZING cold on their wedding day, but that didn’t stop them at all! Couples who are willing to do anything to get the best photos are my kind of people! I was so grateful that they spent over an hour outside in the windy, cold with me! I think that it was so worth it though! You’ll see what I’m talking about below!! 🙂
First Look
Their first look was the absolute sweetest, and BOTH of their reactions were filled with so much JOY! It was so hard for me to pick my favorites (hence the boat load of first look images!). Jinha was SO ecstatic to see Aerin as a bride for the first time! I totally lost it! It was such a beautiful moment! One they had been waiting and praying about for a while!
Ceremony
When I came home from their wedding, I immediately shared with my husband, Herbert, everything that their pastor had talked about! I don’t know if any one else does this, but during wedding ceremonies, I’m always listening to the advice that the officiant is giving to the new bride and groom! Every time, I always learn something new about marriage, and on Aerin and Jinha’s wedding day I learned so much!
Their pastor talked about the importance of prayer in a marriage and keeping the Lord at the center! The way he described the power of prayer between two individuals is one I’ll never forget! I was most certainly encouraged!
Reception
There were almost 300 people at their reception! It was a packed room for sure! They were surrounded by friends and family who have been with them since the beginning of their relationship, and who have seen them grown into the individuals they are today! No matter where you looked, everyone was having a great time, and were so excited to celebrate with the newlyweds!
Jinha even surprised Aerin with a dance that he and his groomsmen choreographed! Aerin had NO idea that this was going to happen, and being apart of this surprise was so FUN!! The guys did SUCH a great job, and Aerin had the biggest smile on her face!!
The rest of the night was spent catching up with their guests and dancing of course!!!
THANK YOU!
Aerin and Jinha – I’m SO, so happy for you both!! Being apart of your wedding day impacted my life in such a personal way! I’m so blessed to know you both!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing couple to serve! I cannot wait to see how the Lord will use you both!!
