Ali + Kevin | A Burgundy & Gold Wedding at The Columbia Station

I couldn’t wait to get Ali and Kevin in front of my camera again! Their wedding at The Columbia Station was one that I’ll never forget! At their engagement session, they had shared with me the plans that they had in place for their wedding day, and I was beyond excited to see how they were going to bring everything together!

When I arrived to The Columbia Station, I knew that this was perfect venue for these two! It was unique, elegant and historic! Their burgundy and gold theme went so well with the decor that was already present at the station! The weather was perfect, and when I saw Ali’s getting ready room, I was ecstatic! She got ready in a caboose! How cool is that?!

As I started to meet their friends and family while Ali was getting ready, I could tell right away that her and Kevin were surrounded by such love and support! One of their bridesmaids even came all the way from Scotland – AMAZING! There were also many moments that made me emotional as a photographer to capture for the two of them! This is pretty typical for me to tear up on the other side of the camera! A moment that sticks out to me the most was when Ali’s mom was helping her put on her veil…I said to her “ Ali – just think about Kevin.” Ali started to tear up and I did too! There were instant tears – it’s like someone turned on a faucet! You’ll see the photo below!

Their ceremony was also one of my favorites to date – it was very intimate and a reflection of their journey to getting to where they were on that day. In addition, it was a celebration of how God has been so good to them with blessing them with one another! The entire day was a true reflection of their relationship as they were surrounded by family, and friends who have had such an impact on them both individually and as a couple!

Ali and Kevin, what a privilege it was to not only capture your wedding day, but to be a witness to the Lord’s goodness in both of your lives! Congratulations you two!
