I CANNOT believe this day is here!

I’m overwhelmed by the love, support, encouragement and most of all – prayers – I’ve received over the past three years and even more so, the past five months.

Today, friends – with every ounce of excitement (and of course some nerves!) in my body – I am thrilled to share with you that today is my FIRST day as a full-time wedding photographer!!

Since the beginning of this year, it has been laid very heavily on my heart to take the next step, and focus completely on my photography business and serving my amazing clients!!

Phew – I can’t believe this is completely out there now! Oh my goodness! Even just typing this blog post seems unreal! Can someone pinch me please? Hold on – let me ask one of my coworkers aka my cats 🙂 LOL

If you’re reading this, YOU have helped me in some way along this journey since I picked up my first DSLR camera over three years ago. YOU have helped me make my dream a reality!

Thank you for:

• Answering my random questions.
• Showing me how to even use a camera.
• Listening through the tears when I doubted myself.
• Being my biggest cheerleaders!
• Reminding me that I CAN do this!
• Believing in me!
• Pushing me to be my best self.
• Inviting me into such special moments in your life and most importantly –
• Reminding me of this truth: that perfection isn’t required before God can use me – He is simply asking me to take the next step. I’m not going to lie – this is SO hard to remember sometimes!!

My encouragement to YOU

In case you’re hesitant to take the next step – whatever that may look like for you – I wanted to leave you with some words from one of my recent Instagram posts:

God has created us to do incredible things, and He doesn’t waste any time. So today I’m showing up just as I am, my heart on my sleeve. Go for it – take that next step towards your dreams. Try something brand new – possibly something out of your comfort zone. That step might feel like a staircase, but I promise that you absolutely won’t regret it.”
