John & Amanda | A Classic Fonthill Castle Wedding

John and Amanda’s wedding at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA was one I had been looking so forward to ALL year! Ever since I received Amanda’s inquiry months ago, I knew that her and John’s wedding was going to be romantic and joyful in every way! Especially since they had selected to have their wedding reception at Fonthill Castle! How beautiful and breathtaking!?! I have driven past Fonthill for years, but never thought that I would shoot a wedding at the castle! Well…#daymade – it happened with the most perfect couple! If you can’t tell already, I was beyond excited for this day to arrive!!! 😀

John and Amanda met each other on a blind date! Thank goodness they did because they are absolutely perfect for one another! From there the two became inseparable. John asked Amanda’s parents for their blessing (how sweet?!), he proposed at their favorite weekend getaway in Cape May, and here we are today!

They crafted the most beautiful day to celebrate their marriage. Their wedding day went beyond the details, cake, etc. – they crafted a day that would bring together the people who they loved most and who have impacted their relationship as a couple. Throughout the day, you could just see such joy and love between John and Amanda – I couldn’t get enough of the kindness, patience and smiles they shared between one another.

Just like their engagement session (click here if you haven’t seen it yet!) the weather forecast was calling for rain! We all were praying hard that the weather would pass us! When I saw that the weather was going to be warm and sunny, I texted a picture of the weather diagram on the TV to Amanda right away! 😀 It rained in the morning, but only for a short amount of time! It was just enough to provide us with cooler weather and tons of sunshine!

From the moment I arrived at Amanda and John’s home, I was welcomed and loved just like family – that is truly a testament to the way that John and Amanda are as individuals and even more so as a couple. I met Amanda’s wonderful mom, sister and bridal party! The girls already had all of Amanda’s details in one spot, ready to go for me upon my arrival – how sweet?!?! From the letter that John wrote Amanda to her dress already being hung up, I was absolutely blown away! They were SO helpful to me throughout the day – and we had tons of fun together! Thank you ladies!! 😀

My second shooter, Kate Leigh, was with the groomsmen and had a BLAST! John pinned two pictures of both his grandmother’s on the inside of his jacket! He wore these pins all day long – what an incredible way to honor their legacy!

The limo arrived and we were off to St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church for Amanda and John’s ceremony – it was beautiful in every way! Surrounded by their most dear family and friends, they exchanged vows and were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Sannini! Woohoo!

Following the ceremony, we were on our way to Fonthill to start of off our time with portraits! John and Amanda scheduled an hour for portraits, and I was truly so grateful!!! Fonthill is absolutely stunning, and we had no problem finding beautiful portrait locations! Following their portraits, they enjoyed the rest of the evening laughing, celebrating and making so many memories that they’ll hold dear for years to come. With the live band in full swing, Amanda and John danced the night away!:D
