I’m SO happy spring engagement session is in full swing! I recently had the best time with Sarah and Mario during their Manayunk engagement session! Their session had been on my calendar since last year so to say I was looking forward to it was an understatement. I LOVE that they chose to have a Manayunk engagement session since it was where they had their first date. How romantic is that?! Although it rained right before our session, we had a beautiful time together and I can’t wait for you to see their portraits!
Their Love Story
Sarah and Mario met on Tinder! Right away, they knew they had a lot in common and couldn’t wait to meet in person. Once they began talking, it was like they’d been friends for years – not just strangers who just met. Like I mentioned, their first date was in Manayunk. They met at Lucky’s Last Chance for a beer and their little date turned into 4 hours of non-stop talking. It was meant to be pretty early on!
In August, Sarah decided it was time to get some fresh air after months at the house (thanks, COVID!) and mentioned a picnic at Blue Bell Park. He insisted on making it super nice – a charcuterie board and wine included. Before he would let me dive into eating, he came to my side of the table and tried to talk with me. Of course, a cute dog ran up – Mario was surprisingly flustered. Soon after the owners came, he talked quickly and spilled out his proposal. Obviously, I said yes! I found out not longer after some friends had captured it all! It was the perfect surprise.
What Mario loves about Sarah:
“She makes me laugh without fail, she’s always encouraging me to explore and do new things, and her smile can light up even my worst day.”
What Sarah loves about Mario:
“1. He has an incredible sense of humor and will always do his best to make me laugh. 2. He’s incredibly supportive of any new thing I want to try or any ideas that I want to talk through. If I bring something up and then back off of it because it sounds silly, he’s quick to talk it up and make sureI know I can do whatever I want. He’s my hype man. 3. He’s always down for a new adventure. Whether it’s a small thing like a new recipe or something larger like planning a trip to a new place, we can get excited about it together.”
