There is no denying that Noel and Bill are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met, and the way that Bill looked at Noel during their entire engagement session caught my eye!
Noel is actually really great friends with my sister and she even baked my sister’s wedding cake! Those of you who know Noel really well know that she needs to open a bakery ASAP because she can bake pretty much anything! Her desserts are out of this world!
Initially, I had been introduced to Noel over the years through my sister, so I was BEYOND excited to spend one-on-one time with her and Bill at their engagement session! This is just another reason why I LOVE engagement sessions – I’m able to connect with my couples before their weddings days, and it’s simply the BEST!
Their session took place at the Grange Estate in Havertown, PA! They had suggested this location because Bill’s family is very involved with the estate, so it was only fitting that their e-session would take place on the property! I know Bill gets this all the time (sorry, again, Bill! ☺) but I have to share it with you all because I’ve been geeking out over here!! He is actually a direct descendant of William Penn – no joke! His full name is William Penn, and I think this is the coolest thing ever!
I’m so glad that they suggested the estate because the magnolia trees and cherry blossoms were starting to bloom and we had the nicest day out of the entire week for their session! It was the PERFECT location, especially since the estate holds such history and memories for their family!
Speaking of family, while I was taking photos of Noel’s engagement ring, she shared with me that the ring used to be her grandmothers! I almost started tearing up because Noel will always have a piece of her grandmother with her! So sweet!
I had the best time with these two! They’re getting married at Normandy Farm this summer, and I cannot wait!!
How They Met
“We stumbled upon one another on match.com. We both knew from the moment we saw each others’ profiles, that we had found “the one.”’
The Proposal
“Bill proposed on Christmas Day 2017. We had just finished opening gifts and were getting ready to leave for Christmas brunch at his parents home, when he said ,” Wait- I have another small gift for ya..” He pulled out a small cloth bag and poured out the contents on the coffee table. It was a puzzle to put together–one of our favorite past times. We assembled the puzzle and when it was complete, it said “Will you marry me?” I just turned to him and said “Of course!!”. We were both sort of shaky and teary eyed, but so full of love and excitement. Nothing could have wiped the smile from our faces!”
