Recently, I got to spend the evening with Tracy and Hamilton for their Springton Manor Farm engagement session! We had the most perfect weather and THE most gorgeous light! I couldn’t have asked for a better spring engagement session. Tracy and Hamilton met while they were working at the same biochemistry lab in college. During one of their day time hikes, Hamilton and Tracy decided afterwards to grab dinner. Their other friend couldn’t make it, so it wound up being their first date!

When Hamilton was ready to propose, he took Tracy out on a hike. They’d hiked a lot in college together, so it wasn’t really a big deal or surprise. When they got to the top of a hike they did often, Hamilton proposed. And he even used a diamond from his great-grandmother’s ring in Tracy’s ring! How special is that?!!

Springton Manor Farm Engagement Session

We seriously lucked out with the most gorgeous weather (and sunset) for Tracy and Hamilton’s Springton Manor Farm engagement portraits. And Tracy wore such a beautiful gown that popped perfectly against the fields and trees. Both Tracy and Hamilton told me they were a bit nervous about their session but they were absolute naturals in front of the camera!! I loved watching them be together and just have a good time. That’s what engagement sessions are all about! Honestly, I’m already counting down the days until their sweet backyard wedding celebration. I can’t wait for you to see these sneak peeks into their engagement photos – I hope you love them as much as I do.
