Taylor and Chris had the most beautiful summer Peace Valley Park engagement session with me last week. I am SO excited to be sharing it with you now! These two are just the cutest – and they had the most fun outfits for their outdoor session. Narrowing down my favorites was SO hard but, I think I’ve done it, ha!!
Taylor and Chris met at a college party in West Chester and had their first date the morning after they met. Taylor brought her best friend along as a buffer (she’d gone to high school with Chris), but he wasn’t deterred. Over the next few years, they began to realize they had something truly special.
The Proposal
Chris planned a super sneaky – but romantic proposal for Taylor! He told Taylor they were going to a super fancy dinner with some of their friends, but after she was ready, he pulled her into the kitchen – where they had their first photo together – and proposed to her. After she cried and said yes, they headed outside where some of their friends and family were waiting to yell “surprise!”. She told me she’d never been so surprised!! How sweet is that?!?!
Peace Valley Park Engagement Session
When we started to think about where to have Chris and Taylor’s session, I knew Peace Valley Park would be a great option. They wanted to focus on the natural, silly moments together – that’s who they really are when there’s no one around. I’m all about that! There were so many laughs during our session – it was amazing!
My favorite part of engagement sessions is getting to ask my couples what they’re most excited about for their wedding day. Chris told me he’s excited to see Taylor walk down the aisle. And, Taylor is just happy to have everyone together to celebrate. Aren’t they seriously the sweetest?!
