Sheila and Michael waited 900+ days to get married, and you better believe that they celebrated BIG with their family and friends! They planned the wedding of their dreams at Villanova and Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. It was an honor to be a part of it all with them! VU played an important role in their relationship so there was never any question that it would be part of their wedding day. They had some really fun touches throughout the day, and I cannot wait for you to see it!
Villanova University Wedding Day
The newlyweds met at Villanova and like I said, they knew they always wanted it to be a part of their wedding day. Their first date was near campus, and they were engaged at the fountain on campus. I LOVE that they chose to celebrate here with their church ceremony and make the start of their new chapter tie so closely to their past here. It’s beautiful. After their ceremony, we walked around the campus and found all their favorite spots for portraits. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the entire day!
Whitemarsh Valley Country Club
Sheila and Michael are wonderful people. They always make everyone around them feel loved and cared for, and that’s how all of the guests definitely felt during their celebration. Their reception was full of personal touches and surprises – like the VU Wildcat making an appearance – so it felt very them. Sheila and Michael even had a gingerbread house version of the chapel they were married in hours before at Villanova. It was just so fun!! I love that they went all out and made their celebration everything they wanted. When I asked Sheila and Michael what they were looking forward to most about their wedding, they told me it was just about having everyone they love together to celebrate and support their marriage. That desire was so clear the whole day and I’m happy after waiting so long, they were able to have it happen.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Bubnick! You’re married!
