I have to start out by saying it’s an absolute JOY to share all of my incredible couples with you! It’s most definitely engagement season, and I’m loving every minute of meeting my couples and spending such precious time with them!! It really never gets old!!!
Last week, I had two sessions, and the first one was with Nicole and Cole!! Their Wissahickon Creek engagement started in the beautiful park, which is one of their favorite places to explore – especially with their dog, McNubbin!! We had the most beautiful weather, too! These two absolutely LOVE the outdoors and being active, so this was the perfect place to take their photos.
Their love story
Nicole and Cole are so adventurous that they have traveled to Tulum, Cancun, Croatia, Ireland, Switzerland and around the US together since they started dating in 2015!! A month after they started dating, they even decided to take a week long trip to Jamaica over spring break (they’re both teachers!). People thought they were crazy but they knew then that this would be the start of something great!
Nicole and Cole actually met through work – they’re both teachers and are super passionate about their careers. They met in the summer when Nicole was getting a tour of the school, and they became instant friends. How sweet!!
A little over 3 years ago, Cole worked up the courage to ask Nicole out and they haven’t looked back since! Their first date started off with brunch in Conshohocken, then ending at Guppy’s to enjoy a few drinks and play darts.
Several years later on December 26, 2018, Cole proposed to Nicole! They went to dinner at Guppy’s in Conshohocken (I was told that Cole was nervous the entire time!). After dinner, Cole took Nicole outside of Guppy’s to propose! Cole actually had Nicole’s friend, Ashley, hiding in the bushes to take photos of the proposal!! Then they ended the evening at the Boathouse in Conshohocken where Cole surprised Nicole with their family and friends who were there to celebrate the engagement with them.
The second half of their engagement session took place down the road from Wissahickon Creek in Conshohocken! We took some photos in front of Guppy’s, of course! We had the most beautiful sunset as well!!
I loved every moment of my time with Nicole and Cole!! They are so kind and down to earth! I cannot wait for their wedding at Graeme Park next year!
Recently engaged? I’d absolutely LOVE to chat with you further!

What Nicole loves most about Cole…
I love how adventurous he is–constantly pushing me to try and do new things. Since we started dating we have traveled to Jamaica, Tulum, Cancun, Croatia, Ireland, Switzerland, and local places in the US (Florida, Boston, NYC, etc.) Cole has a big heart (even though he doesn’t show his emotions). He is an amazing teacher and a role model to all of the students he teaches. He has a good relationship with his family and his nieces adore him. I could go on forever but in the end he is my best friend!

What Cole loves most about Nicole..
Nicole has a large family and I admire how she constantly demonstrates their importance to her through small gestures and deeds. She helps me see the positive in things I might not initially view as good. We push and challenge each other to change for the better in various ways on a daily basis.
