Woolverton Inn Wedding

Some wedding days are days that I know I’ll remember forever. And Alyssa and Jimmy’s Woolverton Inn wedding day is definitely one of those days! We had 100 degree weather, a tornado warning, rainy weather and despite every unexpected moment, these two tied the knot and were so, so wonderful about it all! I’ll always remember Alyssa and Jimmy’s willingness to embrace the day as it unfolded and their decision to be so joyful, no matter what happened!

Alyssa and Jimmy planned the most elegant pastel details for their celebration. It was all beautiful for their summer wedding… and little did they know how things would turn out. But that’s okay. No matter where I looked throughout the entire day, Alyssa and Jimmy had a smile on their face through it all! I am BEYOND blessed to have the most amazing couples who value their marriage so much more than the wedding day! Alyssa and Jimmy chose to celebrate BIG instead of dwelling on the rainy weather! It did wind up raining a TON on – especially during their ceremony, but everyone grabbed their umbrellas and the moment the sun came out, we made the most of it.

The other thing that really stood out to me about Alyssa and Jimmy’s day was their love for their families. Jimmy’s grandparents were able to be at the celebration and I definitely teared up capturing a few moments between them and his grandparents. And then, as if I wasn’t emotional enough… Right before Alyssa and Jimmy were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. into the reception, both of their families prayed together. It was one of the most moving moments of the day!

The Lord was clearly present in every moment of their wedding day. I’m so honored I could be with them on their special day to capture all of the crazy weather and huge amounts of love around them. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Newman!!
