Whenever I see an email from a past couple pop into my inbox about scheduling a maternity session, I get SO EXCITED!! Being a part of multiple milestones for my couples is such a blessing and JOY! It’s honestly one of the best parts of my job – that I don’t stop seeing my clients after their wedding day!! Jim and Lindsey got married almost two years ago, and I couldn’t wait to photograph their Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve Maternity Session.

Although I hadn’t seen Jim and Lindsey since their wedding day 2 falls ago, I was so excited (and READY!) to see them both. It was amazing to catch up with them. These summer days have been hot and humid, but they braved it all for their session. We spent time wandering through Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve to find the perfect spots to tell their story. There were some gorgeous flowers in bloom and some beautiful trails to follow. And we found some great little hidden spots, too!

Lindsey was SUCH a champ. And she looked absolutely gorgeous in the red dress she chose. I kept smiling after every photo because she is just glowing!!!! What a beautiful mama-to-be! And, of course, Jim was just perfect. The way he looked at Lindsey absolutely melted my heart. They’re going to be such incredible parents to their baby girl when she arrives in September! I can’t wait to see some photos of her!! Congratulations, Lindsey and Jim! What an exciting journey for you both!!
