I absolutely love sharing this tip about when to have brides getting ready on their wedding day because it has saved the day more than once!

I encourage my brides to begin getting ready with their bridesmaids two hours earlier than they need to! You probably think I’m crazy, BUT I’m totally serious! 🙂

There have been countless times when hair and makeup are running a little behind for various reasons beyond anyone’s control, bridesmaids are steaming their dresses the morning of, someone forgot something back at the hotel room, etc. that can delay the ceremony or cut into portrait time!

BUT this can all be avoided by starting the day earlier! If everything goes according to plan and you finish getting ready on time, then you have time to hang out with your girls! THE BEST! I’d much rather have you relaxing and soaking in the day then rushing around to get ready!
