A year and a half ago, Cassie and Dave booked me for their wedding, and ever since I had been looking forward to their day to arrive! I remember when I first talked with them all about the plans they had for their big day, even over a year in advance! They couldn’t wait for their wedding to finally arrive, and I know I couldn’t wait either! I also hadn’t seen them since their engagement session, so you can only imagine how excited I was to give them the biggest hug on their wedding day!!
When Cassie told me that they were getting married at the Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club AND that their theme was a “Fall Ball” I knew it couldn’t have been a more perfect match! I couldn’t wait to be back at this venue, as well! The trees were starting to change and the sun FINALLY decided to make an appearance! This wedding season has been so rainy and cloudy, so to have some golden light made their day even more perfect!
If you can’t tell already, Cassie and Dave’s wedding was literally a fairy tale! From her ball gown dress to dancing on the clouds (yes it’s a thing, and every first dance should definitely have this!), they had thought of every single detail to make their day so magical!
Cassie and Dave love each other so, so much – I know they were beyond excited to finally be husband and wife!
Ceremony
Cassie and Dave’s ceremony took place at St. Helena Catholic Church, which was absolutely breathtaking! I had never been to this church before, and my goodness it’s gorgeous inside!
Their ceremony was beautiful! Surrounded by their family and friends who love them so much, Cassie and Dave were pronounced husband and wife! The smiles on their faces as they walked down the aisle were priceless!
Reception
By the time the reception arrived, everyone was so excited to celebrate the start of this new chapter in their lives!
Before the wedding, Cassie and Dave shared with me some of the surprises they had in store for their guests, as well!! They LOVE surprises!!
During their first dance they added a “dancing on the clouds” effect and the two of them sang their own rendition of “Summer Nights” from the movie Grease called “Scranton Nights” because they met at the University of Scranton! They have AMAZING voices by the way!! No one knew this was happening, and it truly made their reception unique!
At the end of the night, I was talking with Cassie about the day as a whole, and I was telling her how blown away I was at all of the details and events that took place on their wedding day! Her and Dave wanted to make sure their wedding day was a reflection of the two of them as a couple, and they definitely succeeded in doing that! 🙂
THANK YOU!!
Cassie and Dave!! You’re finally married, and I’m so glad that you had the wedding of your dreams! I have enjoyed every moment of getting to know you both!! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you!! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Savino!!
