Christine & Mike | A Ballroom at Ellis Preserve Wedding

Mike and Christine’s wedding at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square, PA was a such an incredible celebration of two people who have waited 12 years to be married! Since meeting Mike and Christine at their engagement session, I knew that their wedding day was going to be filled with cherishing every moment with those they love dearly. From the moment I arrived, I was introduced to all of their closest family and friends! I immediately felt like part of the family!

If you remember from their engagement session, Mike, Christine and their daughter, Kayley, LOVE Disney so much!! I already knew that they were going to be incorporating this theme into their wedding day, but I truly didn’t know what to expect! Christine BLEW me away with how she elegantly added elements of Disney into every part of their day! Everywhere I turned there was a hidden Disney detail throughout the entire venue! From the Minnie Mouse ears in her bouquet to Mike’s Mickey Mouse cuff-links, there wasn’t a detail out of place!!!

It was SO amazing to see how they brought everything together! Her bridesmaids even had different colored shoes to match their favorite Disney princess!! And…each table at the reception was a different Disney theme!! They also picked the best venue that complimented their day in every way! The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is any bride’s, and photographer’s, dream – from marble floors to a crystal chandelier – it was like we were in a fairy tale!

Earlier in the day, the weather was a little rainy, but when it was time for portraits the sun came out! Woohoo! This happened at such a perfect time because we were able to take all of the portraits around the venue! We started off with first looks, and I was most definitely tearing up during Mike and Kayley’s first look! Oh my goodness!!

After the ceremony, everyone went right into cocktail hour and then the reception! The night was led by an incredible live band called the Funkybone Horn Band – they were absolutely AMAZING!! Any band or DJ that gets on the dance floor with the guests is my absolute favorite! Even when I was leaving, SO many people were still on the dance floor!!

Mike, Christine and Kayley, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your special day! I will remember it always, and I hope you all are having a blast on your Familymoon in Disney World!! xoxo
