Danielle and Brian’s Durham Hill engagement session was so much fun to shoot! These two are so perfect for each other and we were blessed with gorgeous golden light during their entire session. It was all so beautiful!! Although it was hot and humid, you’d never know looking at their images. These two were absolute champs!!!
Danielle and Brian had their first date at Mr. Shrimp in NJ followed by a game of mini golf. Danielle joked that she was surprised Brian was interested in a second date, as she can get pretty competitive! But the two had fun and their relationship grew after that min golf game. Danielle and Brian’s relationship is full of adventure – finding new places to eat and explore together. They’re seriously so sweet together!
The Proposal
Their engagement story is sweet too! Danielle was in Nashville for work and Brian came out to meet her. Since the two love traveling, they were excited to stay at a boutique hotel Danielle had picked out for their weekend together. The two were hanging out and waiting for the room to be ready – and although Brian was acting weird, he said everything was fine! When they got to the room, they found out it had been upgraded. As they walked in, Danielle assumed the flowers and champagne in the room were part of that. Uh, nope!! Brian took a chance to drop to one knee while Danielle was exploring… and as you can clearly see, she said yes!
Since Brian grew up on a 40 acre farm, having their engagement session at Durham Hill was a no brainer. We were so lucky to work closely with the owner, Elizabeth, who was incredibly welcoming to us. We’re all so thankful for you, Elizabeth – we appreciate you letting us use your incredible venue! One of my favorite parts of the session had to be when the two had a wine toast to celebrate this amazing season of their lives! I can’t wait for their wedding. Congratulations, Danielle and Brian!
