Alex and Peter had the sweetest Historic Stonebrook Farm engagement session and I’m thrilled to be sharing it with you today! I know Alex from church, through her mother and I met Peter for the first time during our session. But it’s obvious that these two are meant for each other!
Alex and Peter met through Alex’s brother, actually! Peter would come over to hang out with her brother, Tyler, and eventually the two started working together. One of the times Peter came to pick Tyler up for work, Tyler slept through his alarm and Peter wound up messaging Alex to wake him. After that, the two didn’t stop talking and texting! On their first date, they spent time driving around Quakertown and getting to know each other. Sitting on a picnic bench in the park and looking up at the stars, they knew it was the start of something special.
Years before they ever got engaged, Peter heard Alex say that it would be romantic to be engaged under the fireworks. Peter planned the perfect engagement – after the fireworks they were attending, all of their family and friends came out with sparkers to surround them both. Peter got down on one knee and asked Alex to marry him! He even had a photographer capturing the entire thing! The sweetest part of their engagement is that the ring Peter gave Alex is actually from Peters’ grandmother. It was her diamond, given to her by Peter’s grandfather (who he’s named after) and Peter had the stone put into a new ring. How beautiful is that?!
We decided to have their engagement session at the Historic Stonebrook Farm, since that’s where they’ll be getting married next year! Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
What’s something you love about Peter?
“1. His humor. Peter has a great sense of humor and keeps me laughing all the time… 2. I love how family oriented he is. He loves spending time with his family as well as mine and goes out of his way to be helpful and caring to those he loves… 3. We have fun together. Peter taught me so much and has always encouraged me to try new things”
What’s something you love about Alex?
“1. She’s way more grounded than me and has made me a more mature and responsible person… 2. We have the same goals in life and I think we work together to get closer to them every day… 3. Even when we argue I know she wants to be together, even if we aren’t talking. We can usually resolve things quickly.”
