Erin and Bill are THE sweetest couple and I’m so thankful we were finally able to have their romantic New Hope engagement session!!! It had been rescheduled three or four times (I lost count, frankly) because of COVID-19, so we were all relieved when it finally happened!! Erin and Bill were the most gracious and honestly the best about all the rescheduling, so thank you for that!!!
Erin and Bill met online, thanks to Tinder! They began talking and because of their busy schedules, it took almost a month for them to finally meet for their first date in person. They told me it was probably for the best – because they really knew each other pretty well and it wasn’t awkward at all! Erin and Bill met at Xfinity Live for their first date. They enjoyed some live music and some food, before gambling on a second date. They played a game of corn hole, their second date hanging in the balance. Despite the fun wager, they both knew they that a second date was wanted. Before long, Erin and Bill became truly inseparable and Bill began dreaming up the perfect proposal for Erin.
According to Bill, Erin loves many things, but Christmas and Peddler’s Village are high on the list! He knew that he had to plan their proposal to coincide with a visit to Peddler’s Village. With some help from their family and friends to set up the perfect distractions and plans, Bill got to work. The same day, a wedding was actually happening in the village – so Bill was a little nervous about the timing of it all. But, it all managed to work out. With the harpist playing near the wedding, Bill got down on one knee and asked Erin to be his wife. She was SO surprised and said yes!!! Now they’re planning their dream wedding together. I just LOVE how romantic Bill was – and how perfect everything turned out!!!
New Hope Engagement Session
We met in New Hope for their engagement portraits and it was amazing to finally sit down and talk with these two! We discussed their wedding plans and even managed to sneak in some ice cream during their session. SO SO good!! New Hope and Lambertville provided such a gorgeous variety of spots for us to explore, creating stunning portraits to celebrate their engagement. I absolutely loved spending the evening with Erin and Bill and I cannot wait for their wedding!!
What Erin Loves about Bill:
“The three things I love most about Bill are: he is very friendly, thoughtful, and goofy. I always joke that when Bill goes to get the mail, hemakes two new friends. Bill is so thoughtful and always remembers little things that I say I want to do or places I want to go. He is also very goofy and I love that we can be our silly selves with each other!”
What Bill Loves about Erin:
“The best thing is there is so much to love about Erin, but hard to just name three. I admire her determination and passion for what she doesin her professional and personal life. I always enjoy her fun, cheery and optimistic personality and instantly smile or laugh with her. Erin has a heart of gold, she is kind and genuine.”
