Alyssa and Jimmy FINALLY had their New Hope PA engagement session! It was SO much fun spending the evening with these two. When my husband wound up in the hospital, I had to reschedule their session but they were incredibly understanding and patient with me. I can’t thank them enough!!! Honestly, I think the last minute delay worked in our favor, too! We wound up with the most beautiful weather the night of their session here in New Hope!
Alyssa and Jimmy met through a young adult bible study at their church in Arlington, VA. After months of hanging out with a group of friends, they finally exchanged numbers and began talking more regularly. Soon, Jimmy asked Alyssa out on a date… except, she didn’t realize it was a date and invited some other people along. By the time the evening rolled around, she realized what was going on and as she told me, “the rest was history!”.
Jimmy and Alyssa were visiting Alyssa’s parents at their new home in Ponte Verde Beach when Jimmy proposed. The family had reservations at the TPC Sawgrass Country Club for brunch on Sunday morning of the trip. When they arrived, Alyssa’s mom told them she wanted to show them thepretty scenery along the golf course. Alyssa tried to rush them along because she was ready to eat brunch! As she started to realize Jimmy was looking nervous, it clicked! Jimmy got down on one knee in front of her family along the side patio of the clubhouse. With lots of happy jumps, she said yes. And now they’re planning a gorgeous wedding day!
