Caitlin and Dan’s gorgeous fall Washington Crossing Historic Park Engagement Session was so much fun!! I loved getting to know these two and their sweet pup, Charlie, during our session. I cannot get over how sweet Caitlin and Dan are together, and how excited they are for their wedding day! The entire session, I kept smiling, feeling like I was working with some of my best friends!!! I have the BEST clients.
After meeting on Coffee Meets Bagel, Caitlin and Dan met for their first date. They got together for beer and appetizers at Capital Craft, and after a few hours, they were already planning date number two. It’s no surprise then that on their 2 year anniversary, Dan planned to propose!
Caitlin and Dan went to a local park before going out to dinner for our anniversary. While we were at the park, Dan had been searching for the right spot, hoping for the skyline in the background, but people were around and he knew I didn’t want something super public. They walked around the park a bit and took a seat on one of the benches and started talking about our two years together. Dan got down on one knee and proposed right there! Obviously, Caitlin said yes!! They called their family and closest friends and then wound up going to dinner where they first met exactly two years prior, Capital Craft. It’s SO romantic!

When we planned their engagement portraits, we knew we wanted to take advantage of the fall colors, so Washington Crossing Historic Park was a no brainer! They brought along their dog, Charlie, a corgi pup for a few portraits and it was a BLAST! Thanks for spending the afternoon kicking up the leaves with me, Caitlin and Dan! I cannot wait until your wedding day!
What Caitlin Loves about Dan:
“I love how thoughtful and considerate Dan is, he made sure to go speak to both of my parents before proposing because he know it was important to me and would mean a lot to them, he also almost always lets me sleep in on the weekend and gets up to make coffee or take care of the dog.
I also love how kind Dan is, since he has been teaching virtually since March, I have had the opportunity to see/ overhear his interactions with students and coworkers and he is so kind to all of them and goes out of his way to make sure he is doing whatever he can to help his students succeed. Finally I also love how passionate Dan can be about things, whether its our relationship, the NY Giants (even though I’m and Eagles Fan),teaching/Debate. or politics he puts his entire heart and soul into it.”
What Dan Loves about Caitlin:
“I love that Cait is: 1) Driven, especially in her work 2) Supportive, when I am struggling with something 3) Loving, with both our families (and Charlie!).”
