Megan & Logan | A Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor Wedding

Logan and Megan’s summer wedding at the Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor in Milton, Delaware is one I will never forget!! I had been looking forward to their wedding day for what felt like FOREVER to me!

The first time that Megan and I talked on the phone she had shared with me that her and Logan were getting married on a lavender farm in Delaware! When Megan was growing up, she’d visit her grandparents in DE and the lavender farm was a place they’d frequent, as well, since it was so close to her grandparents home. During one of her visits, Megan’s grandmother shared with her that she’d get married at that very lavender farm one day! This dream of hers HAPPENED, and that made the day so much more special!

We started the day with the bridal party getting ready at Sunnybrae Mansion in Milford, Delaware! Oh my goodness, my jaw dropped when I drove up the long driveway to the house! WOW! This place is gorgeous! Megan and Logan had rented out the house for the entire weekend, and it was such a beautiful place to kick off the festivities of the day!

Megan’s anticipation and excitement to see Logan in a few short hours was so incredible to witness! A smile never left her face all morning, especially when her best friends and closest family helped her put on the finishing touches!

Then we were on our way to the Lewes Canalfront Mariana for their first look! Megan absolutely LOVES marine life, especially sharks, so the marina was a PERFECT spot! If you look closely you’ll notice that the guys’ bow ties even have sharks on them! Their first look was so, so sweet, and logan had the BIGGEST smile on his face when he saw Megan! They were able to take a few moments to themselves and to soak in all that the day would bring! I love first looks so much!

After we were finished with their portraits, we walked around the marina and the cute shops in Lewes, Delaware with their wedding party! If you remember the weather last weekend, it was the hottest day of the year so far! Regardless of the humidity, everyone was laughing and having fun! As we were walking around the shops, one of the local restaurants invited us in and served everyone water! That’s how hot it was! All of us were so grateful to be in the air conditioning and drink some cold water, especially since we were about to head over to the Lavender farm for the wedding ceremony!

Their ceremony was so, so sweet and Christ centered! Their vows were so heartfelt and rich, and in that moment there was such celebration from their best friends and family! They were finally married, and it was the most incredible moment of the entire day!

The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away, golden hour portraits and making lasting memories with those they loved so much!

Megan and Logan! I am beyond excited for you both as you enter into this next journey of your lives! I’m praying for you two always, and I’m so blessed to know you both! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day! I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for the two of you!
